Our shop is located in a 1950s storefront tucked into the City Park West neighborhood. Our aesthetic is a throw back to shop class & your grandpa's workshop garage. Built with a make-do attitude we thrifted and purchased second-hand as much as possible. We limit the use of plastic containers or bright colors to create a natural and warm space. We also enlisted the help of local craftspeople and artists to create hand-lettered signs, photography, and custom welded shelving in our retail space. Our shop is inviting, organized, and filled with classic shop treasures.

The TED lab at Downtown Denver Expeditionary School was designed to honor the city location of the school and to highlight the importance of the natural world in EL education. We built kid-sized rolling work tables, used our own wood elements milled from pine beetle kill from my Grandparents' land and created a flexible and useful space tucked in a corner of the building.

With a growing student body and limited space, we were tasked with designing an art space that could accommodate up to 28 students in a relatively small space. We utilized these bright blue metal cabinets and butcher block counters to create storage and a wrap around work surface that could take a beating.

We truly believe we are our best selves when we are in beautiful and functional spaces. We had the opportunity to design and build two sensory rooms at DDES and Fairview Elementary. Both schools had a strong need to provide a safe and calming environment for students to self-regulate, move their bodies, and have a break from over stimulation. We collaborated with our friends and local design/builders VonMod and Benefield Design.
